Last week, we got the whole Acti-Kare family together for our yearly summer BBQ. The weather was perfect – a beautiful Pacific Northwest day that couldn’t have been better for an outdoor party. It was awesome to see everyone relaxing and having a great time after all their hard work.
The food was a big hit! We had everything from tasty burgers hot off the grill to fresh salads and desserts.
We didn’t just eat, though. There were plenty of games and time at the beach that got everyone laughing and playing together. The raffle was a crowd-pleaser, with lots of happy winners taking home prizes. It was fun to see people’s excited faces when their names were called – a small way for us to say thanks for all they do.
One of the best parts of the day was just hanging out and chatting with our amazing caregivers. It’s not often we get to relax together outside of work, so it was nice to see everyone mixing and getting to know each other better. As the day wound down, we all felt really grateful. We’re so lucky to have such a great team at Acti-Kare. The BBQ was our way of saying a big “thank you” to everyone who makes ActiKare so special.
It wasn’t just a summer party – it was a chance to show how much we appreciate our Acti-Kare family.
